“6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (King James Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)
Training requires an investment on the part of the trainer. While this includes an investment of time, it may also include the investment of other resources. We must be willing to seek GOD and to do what is necessary to train the children in our lives. GOD has instructed us to train them. GOD didn’t ask us, GOD told us. This training most certainly must include proper Spiritual training. There is so much going on in the world now and we know that there are more challenges to come. The enemy, satan, still exists and still does evil. Wickedness will continue to exist. We must prepare our youth and young adults for the here and now and for the days to come! GOD has great plans for their lives and they should be given all of the tools needed to walk in the Victory that GOD has ordained and purposed for their lives. Let’s make any and all adjustments in our lives so that we can be positioned to train them (this of course, includes seeking GOD’S WISDOM) and then let’s train them according to what is revealed to us by Our Almighty GOD.
