What is a god? What god do you serve? Are you sure?

Let’s get clear about what a god is. The definition of a god according to Merriam Webster includes the following:
“God : the supreme or ultimate reality such as…
: the being perfect in power, wisdom, and goodness who is worshipped” ”

Ok, with that said, take some time to think about, and be honest with yourself, about who or what is your god. (We all have a god, even if the god that one serves is his or her self). Who you think is perfect in power, wisdom and goodness? Who or what do you worship?

It is important for us to review what “worship” means because remember that a person gives his or her worship to the god or gods that he or she serves

Let’s at a definition of the word worship shared in the Merriam-Webster dictionary. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, worship is defined as:
“: to honor or show reverence for as a divine being or supernatural power
2
: to regard with great or extravagant respect, honor, or devotion”.

People can serve many gods. That is unless they serve GOD, YAWEH, THE ONE AND TRUE LIVING GOD. YAWEH does not go for that. GOD will not share HIS GLORY with another. If you say that you are a child of GOD, you need to know what GOD, YAWEH, THE ONE AND TRUE LIVING GOD requires of you. If not, you could be living a lie thinking that you are HIS when GOD’S standards make it clear that you are not. What happens when this is your reality? You are a child of satan and are subject to what satan wants to do in, through and about you. And then, as if it seemed that things could not get any worse, the child of satan dies physically, time for this creation of GOD, enters into eternal torment, hell, a place never created for this person who has chosen unwisely.

16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods;
