GOD loves us. (The Question Is: Do We Love GOD?)

GOD loves us. (The Question Is: Do We Love GOD?)

“16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV)

The question that each of us must ask ourselves is: “Do I love GOD?”. This question must be answered based on what GOD has said and not what we think or feel. “15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15 (KJV)

If we love GOD, we obey HIM, we follow HIS INSTRUCTIONS, we do what HE SAYS. We do what HE SAYS THE WAY THAT HE SAYS, HIS WAY! Our love for GOD is demonstrated in our obedience. Let’s not fool ourselves. Let’s not let others fool us. Let’s choose to face the truth and embrace THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD. Failing to do so could have dire consequences both now and throughout eternity for those who do not love GOD according to HIS HOLY WORD. “21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 (KJV)

Submit to God, then Resist the devil

“7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 (KJV of The HOLY BIBLE)

Submission to GOD comes before resistance.

In order to submit to GOD, a person has to know what GOD HAS SAID AND IS SAYING. (Yes, GOD IS STILL SPEAKING. It is written in GOD’S HOLY WORD in Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not; “. If GOD SPOKE in days past and HE DOES NOT CHANGE, ACCORDING TO GOD, HE IS STILL SPEAKING. Whoever told you that GOD has stopped speaking is Wrong. The question becomes “whose report will you believe?”) Before you start rebuking, binding and otherwise resisting the devil, invest the time needed in GOD’S HOLY WORD, under the guidance of HOLY SPIRIT, to learn what submission to GOD means. Find out or get more clarity yourself because you will be held accountable for your submission or lack of submission to GOD.

Then before you resist, make sure that you submit to GOD and The Truth of HIS WORD, THE HOLY BIBLE, not your opinions, not your thoughts, not the opinions of others, not the thoughts of others and not any other so called “truth”. Otherwise, you could find yourself painfully disappointed, frustrated and defeated in your efforts to stop the devil’s interference in your life. If we want to operate in GOD’S POWER, we must do things GOD’S WAY!

HOLY SPIRIT: THE “BEST” BEST FRIEND EVER!

Have you accepted JESUS CHRIST as your personal Savior?

If so, do you know that HOLY SPIRIT, THE VERY SPIRIT OF THE ONE AND TRUE LIVING GOD, came to live in you the moment that you accepted JESUS CHRIST as your personal savior?

Yes, if you accepted JESUS CHRIST as your personal savior, HOLY SPIRIT lives in you! HOLY SPIRIT is a person. HOLY SPIRIT loves you, wants to comfort you, wants to teach you and wants to help you.

Will you allow HOLY SPIRIT to love, comfort, teach and help you? Look at the scriptures in THE HOLY BIBLE and discover, or rehearse, who HOLY SPIRIT is and what type of relationship HOLY SPIRIT wants to have with you. HOLY SPIRIT wants a relationship with you. Imagine that!

Why not give yourself to nurturing a relationship with HOLY SPIRIT to such an extent that HOLY SPIRIT is your best friend? Imagine having a BEST FRIEND who knows all things and wants to let you know everything that you need to know to a live a life that pleases GOD, a TRIUMPHANT life?

Communicate to HOLY SPIRIT that you want HIM to be your best friend and then treat HOLY SPIRIT as THE BEST FRIEND that HE IS! (Of course HOLY SPIRIT knows your heart but expressing your desire for a relationship with HOLY SPIRIT is beneficial in more than one way. So go ahead and humble yourself and tell HOLY SPIRIT what you are thinking, how you are feeling and what you want. ) Acknowledge, respect, talk to and listen to HOLY SPIRIT. Share your joy and your pain with HOLY SPIRIT. Laugh with HOLY SPIRIT. Go to HOLY SPIRIT with tears because HE IS THE COMFORTER. HOLY SPIRIT wants to and will comfort you in ways that no one else can.

Ask HOLY SPIRIT anything and everything. HOLY SPIRIT has All of the answers and will communicate to you all that you need to know. GOD IS STILL SPEAKING AND HOLY SPIRIT WILL TALK TO YOU!

A Clean Heart Opens Doors

“7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” ” I Samuel 16:7

What does GOD see when HE looks at your heart?

Let’s not assume that the condition of our hearts are acceptable to GOD. The condition of my heart powerfully impacts the quality of the life that I will lead. The condition of your heart powerfully impacts the quality of the life that you wil lead.

Only the pure in heart shall see GOD. This is true about when we who have accepted JESUS CHRIST as Savior meet GOD face to face in eternity. What about right now in time? I need to “see” GOD now. When I refer to seeing GOD in time, I am referring to several things including comprehending and experiencing GOD to the fullest extent that GOD has made it possible for me to know and experience GOD while I am in time. I want to hear GOD and to be heard by GOD. What about you?

If so:

1) Ask GOD to reveal the condition of your heart. Respond to what GOD reveals.

2) “10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10 (KJV)
Ask GOD to create in you a clean heart. (Pray this no matter what you think about the condition of your heart. Humbling yourself before GOD is powerful. There may be things that you do not know. Do what it takes to be in proper position with GOD.)

Each of us is wise to give attention to the condition of our heart. It’s worth it.
