Let the Wise Hear and Increase in Learning (Proverbs 1:1-:6)

The scriptures that follow provide revelation and insight about what we expect to gain as we read through the entire book of Proverbs. (We are aiming to read at least one chapter each day. Please join us!)

“The Beginning of Knowledge
1 The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:

2 To know wisdom and instruction,
to understand words of insight,
3 to receive instruction in wise dealing,
in righteousness, justice, and equity;
4 to give prudence to the simple,
knowledge and discretion to the youth—
5 Let the wise hear and increase in learning,
and the one who understands obtain guidance,
6 to understand a proverb and a saying,
the words of the wise and their riddles.” Proverbs 1:1-:6 (English Standard Version)

2 Corinthians 10:3-:5 (King James Version)

“5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:3-:5 (King James Version)

Wisdom is the Principal Thing

“7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7 (King James Version)

Since wisdom is the Principal thing, let’s get it. Let’s take one important step. Let’s read. Let’s read one chapter of the book of Proverbs in THE HOLY BIBLE each day. Proverbs is a book of wisdom. GOD’S WISDOM. We need GOD’S WISDOM. Wisdom is the ability to properly apply known knowledge. You can have knowledge but without the wisdom of how to apply known knowledge, you can be hindered, limited and even suffer. Again, wisdom is the ability to properly apply known knowledge. Let’s get positioned to receive and be filled with the wisdom of GOD! Surely, our lives will never be the same!

I Prayed for You (Post)

I Prayed for You

How can I make this statement? I pray for those who engage in any way, shape or form with the work that I am doing to help youth, young adults and those who invest in the lives of youth and young adults. This includes, but may not be limited to, praying for:
1) Those who visit and review the contents on my blog.
2) Those who visit and review the contents on any of my social media sites.
3) Those who read or listen to the revelation, insight, information or resources that I share.
4) Those who share what I share with others using social media, text messaging, phone calls and other methods of communications.
5) Those who support the work that I am doing by sharing their wisdom and knowledge with me and the audiences that I am working to assist.
6) Those who support the work that I am doing by investing financially in the work that I am doing to help youth, young adults and those who invest in the lives of youth and young adults to live successful lives.

I pray that you experience GOD’S will for your life. I pray in the natural. I also pray in the spirit. As I pray in the spirit, I could be covering any number of issues concerning those who I am praying for.

Come to Me, All Who Are Weary and Heavily Burdened Matthew 11:28-:30 (Amplified Version)

“28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”” Matthew 11:28-:30 (Amplified Version)

Romans 12:21 (King James Version)

“21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21 (King James Version)

Psalm 118:24 (King James Version)

“24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 (King James Version)

JESUS Gave (And So Should We)

“5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” I Peter 2:5-:6 (King James Version)

“5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:5-:8 (King James Version)

“16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” I John 3:16 (King James Version)

I expect to see the goodness of THE LORD in the land of the living. (2 Peter 2:2-:4)

I expect to see the goodness of THE LORD in the land of the living.

Why?
GOD has good for me. The WORD OF GOD reveals so much good that GOD has planned for me. GOD’S LOVE and goodness are revealed in scripture after scripture in GOD’S HOLY WORD, THE BIBLE.

“11 For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 (Amplified Version)

“2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 2:2-:4 (King James Version)

These are examples of the scriptures that reveal that GOD has so much good purposed for my life. A search of the scripture will show that there are so many more such scriptures about the goodness that GOD has planned for me!

GOD is not a man that HE should lie so I know that HE means, and will honor, what HE says.

GOD is not a man that HE should lie. I trust HIM.
“19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

“13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”

Thank YOU FATHER. Praise YOUR HOLY NAME!

(Please know that GOD is no respector of persons and has the same goodness planned for each and every reader of this writing.)

Philippians 2:5-:11 (King James Version)

“5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:5-:11 (King James Version)
