The Ministry of Reconciliation (Seeking and Saving the Lost)

As children of GOD, we must stay focused. We are to be about THE BUSINESS OF OUR FATHER. We are all called to the ministry of reconciliation. We are to seek and to save the lost. We can not be so consumed with simply doing what it takes to live better lives that we forget that there are those who are lost, without hope and on their way to an eternal hell unless someone intervenes through prayer and ministry of the truth of GOD’S PRECIOUS WORD. Time is… limited. Eternity is…forever.

“10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10 (King James Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

“9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 (New International Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

“4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.” John 9:4 (New International Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

“18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[b] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-:21 (New International Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

Are You Living Like JESUS Might Return At Any Second? Are You Prepared for HIS Return? 2 Peter 3:10-:14 (New International Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

“10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.[a]

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.[b] That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.”
2 Peter 3:10-:14 (New International Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

GOD’S LOVE FOR US IS GREAT (And We Can Trust HIS PROMISES)

If we can not accept and embrace the depth of GOD’S LOVE for us, it will be difficult, if not impossible, for us to truly have faith in the promises that GOD HAS MADE TO US IN HIS HOLY WORD, THE BIBLE. The promises that GOD HAS MADE TO US IN HIS HOLY WORD, THE BIBLE may seem to be too good to be true if we consider them outside of the context of the incredible, glorious, and “too great for words” LOVE GOD THAT HAS FOR US. GOD’S PROMISES CAN BE BELIEVED. GOD’S LOVE IS GREAT. Consider the following and I believe that THE DEPTH AND BREADTH OF GOD’S LOVE FOR US WILL BE TRULY EVIDENCED to you:
“16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16-:17 (Amplified Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

Romans 3:3-:4 (King James Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

“Let GOD Be True, but every man a liar.”

“3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Romans 3:3-:4 (King James Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

Romans 12:2 (Amplified Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

Feeding on GOD’S WORD will literally transform us. We as children of GOD should long to be transformed to conform to THE WILL OF GOD. Being renewed with THE WORD OF GOD will do this.

“2 And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [c]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].” Romans 12:2 (Amplified Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

Hebrews 4:12-13 (New International Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

“12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:12-13 (New International Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

Now. Now. Now. Faith is Now! (Hebrews 11:1)

Now. Now. Now. Faith is Now!
“11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 (King James Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)

Now. Now. Now. Faith is Now!
“11 Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].” Hebrews 11:1 (Amplified Version of THE HOLY BIBLE)
